Breast Cancer Treatments, Medical Doctors Frowned on What Helped

My children and I watched helplessly as my wife of 25 years bravely suffered through breast cancer, invasive surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation. Her health deteriorated quickly from the poison of the conventional treatment, and what the cancer was doing to her.

One of the best articles I have recently read about alternative cancer treatments posits that every person has cancer cells in their body, but they ordinarily do not show up in tests until they multiply to a certain degree. The article includes advice from the highly respected Johns Hopkins newsletter about steps we all can take to avoid encouraging our cancer cells to go out of control. Here is what is said about Essiac:

Today we see in a news item in the Kingman Arizona Daily Miner newspaper that 67 year old Mr. Jim Boyles credits Essiac as helping with the reversal of his prostate cancer. Mr. Boyles was diagnosed in February 2007 with stage nine prostate cancer, and at the time his weight had dropped from 170 to 109 pounds. We see that Essiac is in the news again, and this time the patient whose cancer seems to have been beaten is not a human, but a dog.

Sky is a black Labrador retriever and one of the top 10 obedience champions in Canada until, last June, when she collapsed during a competition. The Master Obedience Champion was taken to a veterinarian, who discovered the dog had leukemia and a tumor. She was believed to have only six months to live.

The dog’s owner, a Ms. Canning, decided to take additional action besides the veterinary drugs that were prescribed for Sky. She changed the dog’s diet to one with no grain and high protein. “So, far, she’s doing just great,” Ms. Canning said. “We’re going to compete again this year; she’s full of energy. The only change is that I can’t take her to field trials (tests for hunting dogs) anymore, because the [drug] she was on made some of her hair fall out and she gets sunburned.”

First off, let me clarify something.

I’m not a doctor, and you should always seek the help of qualified medical professionals before undertaking any treatment method. I am an independent researcher with aging parents who I plan to keep alive and healthy as long as possible.
